    Stihl vs. Dolmar...

Once I got the 034 Super running it did awesome...but still think the 5100 is a bit smoother in the hands, same goes for the 7901 over the 066. All I really got to say is that I always have more saw than wood on most jobs I hit, either brand! Sent from my XT881

    Stihl vs. Dolmar...

Got the oil cap replaced on the 066 and flush cut the stump today and really the first time I've had the 34" bar buried...it did good!

    Stihl vs. Dolmar...

On the fuel side I'm saying the 7901 could of done the same work so why not compare it? Sent from my XT881

    Stihl vs. Dolmar...

Well only took out the 066 and 034s and left the 7901 and 5100 at home and man I got to say I wished I would have brought them(not that they are better, just used to them)! Well the 066 went through a tank of mix in a blink of an eye and upon refill the bar lube cap broke in three pieces... well...

    Bought a Toyota Tundra today.

Well up to 400 miles on the old beast and a Access bed cover and Weathertech floor mats to boot. 4 big guys on a 200 mile road trip last night and it drove nice. Passed plenty of gas stations but my old T100 was around 15mpg average so if I stick around that I'll be happy then again I didn't...

To sell or not to sell that's what's on my mind?

Well you make some good points but I see it this way on the tool and time side....how many hammers does it take to drive a nail, sure you might need a 20oz for a few nails but the 16oz you have will do it! I think I work enough at wood for my own uses and love/want to spend more time with my...

To sell or not to sell that's what's on my mind?

She is just so hot and hard to get rid of......good condition hell of a runner! Same goes for the 034 but just doesn't have the eye pop if you know what I mean!

To sell or not to sell that's what's on my mind?

I really don't see the mill getting used much if at all, just came a cross it at the right price and why wouldn't the Makita work on it. You make a good point about back up saws but I don't cut to make a living and have other heating options so could be down for awhile and what is the chance...

To sell or not to sell that's what's on my mind?

Bought a real nice early Stihl 066 Red Light last year and a nice 034 Super this spring and just don't find myself using them at all. With the two Dolmars I find myself with penty of saw for the jobs I do. I did pick up a mill also but think the 7901 will work fine on it, if I ever use it...

    what mill to get?

Can you make lumber out of palm trees?.....JK! My guess is that you will be finding you need a bigger saw for milling. I just got my set-up together and it's a Granberg Alaskan with a Stihl 066 strapped to it.

Need help deciding on a saw. MS660 VS MS461

Well I have a 7901 and a 066 and I grab the 5100 most it does 75% of the work I need...I would keep the 362 and buy a nice used bigger saw!

What Stihl bar do I have and what is it good fo?

Still don't have a chain for this bar but thinking it is more suited for the new 034 Super I picked up rather than the 066.
