    372 case, brake arm bushing?

    There's a little bushing on the clutch side on these cases for the chainbrake. Does this have to come out when heating the case to do new crank bearings? If so.do you just use a drift of the correct size and whack it out, or does it need a press or what? Book says remove before heating case...
