Want to Sell NOS Homelite Bars

The bars are in original plastic, and any dirt you may see is on the outside, not the bars.

    Husqvarna 435 Stuck Ring

And I'm not trying to downgrade anything or anybody. It's just a eye opener for a 35 yr engine guy. This stuck ring was pure carbon stuck, 60psi on the comp test.

    Husqvarna 435 Stuck Ring

Yep, got several xps. They are in fact metal. I'm just thinking plastic becomes ductile at a much lower temperature than metal. I guess time will tell.

    Husqvarna 435 Stuck Ring

Had to do full teardown for 1 $10 carbon stuck ring. Take a gander at the bottom end engine case. It's plastic. I guess the question is if deformity will happen over time with heat and torque?

    husky 350 wont start

has it been sitting? If the saw has been sitting a while, the carburetor internal fuel pump and metering diaphragm may be hard. If so, you need to sell the saw to me - quick!

Stihl guy is gonna buy a Husky

So let us know! With the newfound joy of the 372, let us know what the "Stihl guy buys a Husky" thinks about it. Personally, I think the 372 is a fine machine that has probably the best durability in the business. The worn out 372s have a lot of hours on them..... Maybe you need a pair of...

husqvarna 357xp or stihl ms261? help me out here

Buy them both! Buy them both. You won't dislike either one. It's just money, and spending money on equipment always brings a return of some kind. Worst case is you sell one and if it's kept in nice shape, you wont lose. You will however get to come back and read the posts and be...

    Nik's Poulan Thread

No problem Gregg, I got the saw with three bars and that was the only one that had chains so what the heck! It went thru some big GA red oak logs like butter. Then again, I can prep a chain to work too, but the power is impressive. Haven't started the 4200 yet. Just found an all orig...

    Nik's Poulan Thread

4000 w/32" Ran my 4000 yesterday with the 32" on it yesterday. Wow! Been a while since that small of a saw quickly zipped thru logs that big. Got a 4200 coming soon, and will see how it measures up. With saws of this caliber, how come Poulan didn't survive in this market?

    Stihl 026 problems

026 Sounds like you may have fried your top end, but even *good* 026s have marginal seals and crank bearings. I have several, and that is the first parts order I usually make: 1 set of crank bearings and seals, followed by fuel line then impulse hose. The rest lasts for ever unless the...

    Husqvarna 357xp performance

pics Take a close up of that chain and post her on here for us to have a look. I just bought a pristine 026 for scrap price cause the guy said it sucked and wouldn't cut, and that Stihls were junk. The chain was on backwards. Of course, I waited til I got it home to figure that out! LOL

    Husqvarna 357xp performance

couldn't agree more I modded my 357 also, and it cuts real well for it's size. Pound for pound, consideriing the engine size, it's impressive. I use it in the middle of the tree for burning thru the bigger limbs fast. Makes short work of cutting up a fallen oak.

    eBay----Really surprised me!!

There is a way to validate your claim. Go to the Ebay resolution center, and report the seller for "shill bidding". Underr that category, there is a specific viloation for bidding from multiple accounts. Ebay already knows this goes on and will review the statistics of the seller, in...
