Check your needle lever height in that carb. If there is an indent in the lever for a tit on the diaphragm to hook into, make sure it does.

They do make wheels .... but they only work on a square grinder. IIRC, the only one currently made is by Simington.

Well ... It sounds counter-productive to me. If you measure prior to disassembly: You then increase that number by cleaning out the carbon build-up. That number is then decreased (by how much?) when you remove the crap stuck to the bottom of the cylinder and on the case; the stuff you don't...

Our county has given them away in years past .... exchange your old container for a new one.

OK ... When the pawls are on the flywheel, they 'open' when the machine is at operating RPM. They 'close' when the RPMs slow down. When the pawls are on the recoil, this issue isn't present.

Because the pawls are on the flywheel. When the saw shuts down, it places stresses upon the starter assembly. Pulling on the rope before shutting down helps relieve this stress.

Great .. wonderful .. super. All I know is that I had an 18x18x18 box of mixed (used and NOS) parts ..... and got over $3k for them on eBay. Totally used parts for a running saw? ... easily over $1,000 IMHO, a collection of parts will always collect more money than a runner. .

If he has a complete saw in parts and that saw would be a runner if assembled, he'll get far more than $600 for parting it out.

Adam, why is this saw still here? The price is a fair one, even includes shipping. Guys, this is a good saw offered up by a top-notch seller .... what's the problem?
