    Stumped...air leak

Air testing "through a carburetor" is a new one on me. Throttle shafts leak even when new.

    Stumped...air leak

You probably have rubber stiffness/shrinkage. Either replace the boot, or remove a little in the noted area in my screenshot.

    028 sprocket

Stihl still makes them, I believe. If people keep buying them, they'll keep making them. .....or try one our sponsors on here....

Stihl 046 Magnum runs perfect then randomly dies

Check cylinder screws for tightness. Impulse hose maybe not hooked up. Rare, but possible: impulse hose misaligned or folded under at the carb connection. Also; small bubble pools of water in the fuel tank are not uncommon in chainsaws. On the bottom, right where the fuel pickup is. Gravity

    MS200T throttle problem

Make sure it's not some homemade throttle rod. I've seen it before.

    STIHL mystery piston

I guess 051 or 045S or 038S I can measure an 051, but tommorrow. Can you measure the pin dia, the total height, and the pin center to top? Looks long, like an 051

    Stihl ms500i flooding issue

Yes, +1 here on the injector. They do wear over time. Just like throttle shafts on a carburetor do.

Piece broke off Stihl 044 handle

That's not broken to me. Lol Why not put an aluminum skid plate over it? This is broken.....

    Stihl ms311 too much compression.

Check your flywheel keyway, or it's a malfunctioning coil.

Stihl MS201CM Question for Stihl Techs

Try tilting the saw on it's side when you prime it, or try pumping it when it's running at partial throttle.

Problem with Homelite 330, no negative comments please.

Tilt dieing sounds like something opening up from AV mounts, or throttle linkage rubbing, bent, or possibly a flexing handle pushing the throttle rod hard against the idle stop. Check your throttle & choke shafts for looseness too. Could be heat boiling your gas inside of the carb. Try a...

    Stihl ms 362cm piston browning

Looks normal to me. Browning is usually caused by short cuts which leave the cylinder wet with fuel.

    Why won't it run!!!!!

Crank seal bad, intake boot leak, check end gap on rings. Once I got a 46mm piston, with 45mm rings. I have seen rare flywheel magnet issues causing no start.

Guess why this TS760 piston melted?

    Like this? Lol
