Can't have the box ? You can't be serious.

Bryan Equipment is an independent distributor that isn't owned by STIHL. They may have their own policies regarding the box but I doubt it because all distributors/dealers have to conform. It is STIHL policy to not sell most serialized units in a box. The few exceptions are the battery line...

    Stihl 500i R availability?

Nobody has an ETA because of the influx of backorders that needs to be filled. So they're constantly getting new shipment but they're going out just as fast. Most commercial saws are hard to get. The only ones that's at the warehouse currently and just recently are the 461's, 462's and 661's...

    stihl 500i

Depending on the distributor, they're giving 1 or 2 out to select dealers until they get more around Sept.-Oct. Currently we have it at starting at $1,269.95 with 16" and $10 each size you go up.

Stihl HT 131 New Generation Pole Saw

I'm curious why they brought the 131 back but not the 101 and instead kept the 103 which is essentially the same as the 133 but with the smaller powerhead. I never liked the new HT's. The spring system in the shaft is very fragile. I don't like that twist wrap lock to loosen and tighten the...

Stihl MS 291 burnt out after 1 hr

The chain brake can be engaged at any time. The master control switch has no bearing on it. What you did was have your switch on throttle lock with the chain brake engaged assuming it was on idle.

    STIHL at Northern Tool?

The OPE industry has been finished much like this country(usa).

    Shop Re-Sharpened Chains vs. Factory

The problem is calling it gouging when it's not. If you can buy a new saw MSRP of $599.95 but you can get it for $500, does it mean the dealer is gouging because you can find it cheaper? You have a choice. Don't be condescending.

    Jipped on new MS 362??

The 261 and 362's both are offered in standard or m-tronic systems since this year. Same price.

What's the best backpack blower on the market?

You're all acting like Sawtroll... specs, specs, specs. Why not take the Echo approach and just try it? The BR 700 is a big imrpovement over the 600. The weight isn't noticeable on the frame but is on the tube.

    Husqvarna AutoTune Help...

Even if something were to happen to the saw by way of defect, I don't think the warranty is valid in your country. If you bought the saw from the US, it's only good within the US, at least for STIHL it is. They do this to protect their dealer/distributor network and discourage purchasing outside...

    Stihl Extended warranty no more?!

Never been available for commercial use. Only homeowners. If you make money with the tools you are considered commercial and the promotion doesn't apply to you. Chain saws: Commercial use is 3 months warranty with or without ultra oil purchase. Emission related parts may be 2 years depending...

    Stihl Extended warranty no more?!

Carbs are part of the emissions warranty. Those may be covered for up to 2 years depending on your region, regardless if it's for commercial or consumer use. Bad fuel or operator error of course is not covered. But the check valves tend to leak.

    MS261C-M running/starting issue once hot

Maybe it didn't but many shops just replace parts in hopes to fix the issue. But sometimes they do go bad that quickly which is what the warranty is for.

30$ per hour to expensive for husqvarna dealer?

I can. If the saw is $100 new, you shouldn't be bringing that into a dealership. They cost a $100 for a reason. Buy another. Shop time and resources are just that regardless of how cheap the equipment is.

Want a new saw was thinking 562xp?

The original 362 was listed as 13.0 lbs., then the 1st M-tronic as 12.8 lbs., now the most recent version is 12.35 lbs.. The 562 is currently listed as 13.01 lbs. but I recall it being around 12.8 lbs. years ago. What changed? Sometimes I think the manufacturers just make up schit or make typos...

    Stihl part prices

Like Harley said, 1121 007 1043 is a conversion pump from non-adjustable to adjustable that comes with the drum, worm, etc. $116 is a good deal for that part. Or you could just get either the non-adjustable pump or the adjustable pump for the same price for under $70. 1121 640 3203 = oil pump...

    Stihl quality headed downhill bad

Like Spike was saying, dealers don't have to work on something they don't want. Just recently STIHL is requiring dealers who sell mtronic or fuel injection units to be equipped with the MDG1 tool. So if you don't wish to work on these units, you have no business selling them. They also offer the...
