Take it back to your dealer and if he's any good he will show you how to start it ( he should have done that when you bought it). Or he should fix it if there is a problem.

I haven't seen one yet. But they are supposed to be out around here around the first of the year I think. Im thinkin it will have the 261 style air filter like they did on the latest 311's and 391's. Hopefully anyhow :)

The .050, .058, and .063 stihl chains all use the same connectors. The drivers are all the same the .050 and .058 just have the bottom part of the driver machined down from .063. I don't really see why .063 would handle more power? But that's just me :D

Did you check the spark arrestor screen?

Deffinately try it with the de-comp out and aplug installed. Even new de-comps leak some.

Lets hope they thought you meant 041 i would find another dealer if not.

Same with Stihl just push the switch all the way down then back up one and you have fast idle and the on switch is on.

How you planning on lubing the turbo? Plus most small diesles dont run over 4000rpms if that and the turbo spins somewhere around 140,000rpms. Wouldnt it spin about threes times that fast on a saw? I wonder if it would stay together? It would be cool if you could get it all to work tho! :smile2:

Possibly wrong coil/flywheel combination?

Both are fine home owner saws. The 250 is hard to beat at 299.

Just switch to the other key if you have two and see what happens.

A new carb. is 27 bucks. And they have been known problem causers. Did you do a pressure vac on the crank case?

If your flywheel has two slots switch it and see what happens. Mine runs in either slot but wont idle worth a hoot in the one but will run great wide open. Good luck!
