I'm no expert or know it all but... If it were me, I'd have lots of these in stock and sell as quick as possible. Patent or no, the communists WILL rip it off.
I'm not really sure I understand how someone doesn't know how to use one. I thought it was pretty straight forward. Sit it on the chain and file whats sticking out. :omg::omg::omg:
Snot rocket science.
Boxelder isn't hard at all. You should be able to cut a long time w/o filing or swapping chain. Hitting the ground will certainly kill an edge.
This was a blow-over I cleaned up.
Trying to fund another toy. Ported in the beginning of '16 and has been great ever since. I've used this saw in rotation with 5 other (ported) saws. $600 will get the 16" rsn bar and a square filed Stihl chain with it. Buyer pays shipping.
Almost stropped like finish with a Timberline. Unfortunately my focus wasn't great.
If'n you're planning to polish every cutter for chainsaw chain, I think you have a LOT of time on your hands or you don't saw much.
I have two extra open port cylinders. I'll get some pics later this evening when I get home. THey were both recently cleaned up so not 100% mint but I'd not hesitate to run either.
