When do you quit throwing money at a 660??

Man, that SUCKS!! But try and remember, all saw companies have good and bad eggs. Some buy a saw and have no troubles with it for 20 years. Some buy the same type of saw and have problems within the first few weeks. That is exactly why I never buy a work saw used. Always new with a warranty...

What saw would you wish they would start remanufacting?

    STIHL 090 series. 'Nuff said.

    Self explanatory

Uhhmmm, I'm a HUGE STIHL head, think of it this way, Homeowner crap is okay to be built in china, They weren't designed to take a beating anyways. Their homeowner junk. Now the Good Pro stuff ain't made in china. Stihl is probably just trying to save a few bucks buy having some equipment made in...

    saw choice 362 or 381

Well, I can't really say much about the 381 as it's not sold at my dealer, And I've never ran one, But the 362 is a Kick ass saw, And the 391 is pointless IMO. It's a clamshell with High cc's. It won't last you NEARLY as long as say the 381 or 362. I think the 381 will pull a 25" a lot...

I'm pulling my hair out over my next purchase.......ms460 vs. 372xp

Stihl 460. It's s better choice, AV shouldn't mean much to many people (accept older folks, Now i ain't hating, I'm just saying). I feel as if the buzzing in the hands just meant i worked hard that day and I'm proud to be able to work that hard. One day I'll be b**chin' and moanin' about it too...

First Saw, Safety, Teen Son to Use

Don't know if anyone else said it, But i think you'd be SET with an MS 250 STIHL saw. lots of power, Light, safe, (well all saws are dangerous, but it's safe compared to a 440. LOL) and you can get it in either 12" to an 18" bar/chain. Good luck and get er done.

Buying an Electric Chainsaw: Used Stihl E20 vs. New Makita UC4030

Screw electric (unless your a big sissy, and you live at an apartment, and RARELY use a saw) Get an MS 250. It should be perfect for your needs, Small, Light, Easy to start, and powerful. 300 for a brand new one, Just my .02 cents, Hope that helps. Here's a link for all STIHL'S small saws...

    Stihl recalls flippy caps!!!

Not trying to bash anyone, But all my saws run flippy caps (accept the one husky and craftsman I own) and I've rarely have leakage, or spillage. The few times I have I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing, or I get distracted. I mean seriously, The chances of spilling out of those flippy...

    Again, In need of advice...

Depending on price. I'll look into the 6400, but my problem is the ONLY local dealer around here is a STIHL dealer (plus I do love cream sickles) So i'll keep the dolmar in thought. Anyone know of a place to find an 036 pro? lol

    Again, In need of advice...

Rough lonngg use, All day kinda saw, I am young so AV is not really a concern, Neither is weight, I just need a powerful saw that'll pull a 20" with power, and a 24-25" bar for the occasional use. I want one of those three (narrowed my bugdet scale and need of use to these, (a good pro saw that...

    MS211 bar/chain question

Okay, An MS 211 (i'm only guessing here) the biggest bar it can handle is a 14" maybbe 16", No 14" bar I've ever heard of had a 3/8's sprocket, Also, I wouldn't advise you to run anything bigger then rapid micro.
