    Stihl cdica 106/1 coil

Must be. Came off of a 064 that they converted the flywheel to 1122 400 1209 and that's the coil it had on it. I am converting it all back to original 064 but wasn't sure if that coil would work with the 1122 400 1204 flywheel that the 064 saws had.

    Stihl cdica 106/1 coil

    Is the stihl cdica 106/1 stamp 170 coil comparable with a 1123 400 1204 flywheel on 064?

    064 oil pump

Have the 064 I have all apart. I am looking at the oiler is there a way to test the oil piston to see if it is working when it's apart? Not sure if that is bad or the nipple that goes into the oil pickup line from the tank and that seems lose fitting to me. If the pump is bad can't you just...

    Stihl 064 or 066

It is a 064 must just have put on the 066 pull cover. The pump is similar to the 064 but I can’t find the correct part number that matches. Can you test a pump to ensure it is bad and isn’t just a block or the worm gear?

    Stihl 064 or 066

Finally got the clutch off. I have the air cleaner as shown but some 066 had that too I thought I also have the indent as shown. The oil pump number is 1122 647 0401. I am not totally sure of the first four numbers as they are worn down but I think it is 1122.

    Stihl 064 or 066

Hello All, I have had for a few years what I thought was an 064. The top engine shroud does cover the recoil starter all the way and there is a little gap. I have always thought the saw was close to my old 394xp in weight, but never really paid attention to it. I needed to do some work on it...

    Falling saws

Bnmc98, Thanks for the info on the 661. Just curious about how long does it take to set itself? After the first tree or just basically warm up? Not to be too noisy, but are there still a good number of fallers out in your neck of the woods? It was amazing how many little sawmill/logging...

    Falling saws

Thanks for the reply's. I kind of figured it was depended on the service in your area of work. I have one okay husky dealer in my area and three good Stihl dealers. When I ran my husky 394xp I do remember having to have to order parts from the west coast suppliers more times then not. I didn't...

    Falling saws

Madhatte, Thanks for the reply was hoping to hear from the fallers out there so that is why I thought here, but whatever you think is better. I wondered why the guys up north run Husky saws so much more, they must have good service up that way. I have been running a 044 and 064 for awhile now...

    Falling saws

Hello, I tried to find something on this already and I am sure I simply missed it, but for the fallers running Husky 390's on a daily basis are you seeing them hold up well yet or are there common issues with them you see from daily use? Any guys switch from Stihl 660's over to the 390? Thanks!

Saw mills in the Bismarck ND area

Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there is in the Bismarck ND area doing milling? I would think there would be a good possibility with the oil industry to do pallets and trailer bed blanks. I know they go through them like crazy and it is one use for the cottonwood in the area. Just curious...
