    Should i buy a rear handle ms200?

The MS200 is a wicked little saw. Little being the operative word. Sure it cuts like a light saber and is easy to work with; but there is no replacement for HP/cubic inchs. mine carries a 14" bar and I use it for most of my ground cleanup 'cause its so light. Yea its $$$, but once you get...

Just for me, I use old fire hoses from different dia hose and use same to store all my different spare bars when not in use.

What angles are best for noodles?

Like Troll I agree that as long as I'm not ripping I use the same crosscut chain as normal. I'm real bad at explainations but try to cut at a 45 deg angle to the bark side of the round. In other words - instead of ripping straight down thru the bark(from one crosscut to the other crosscut)...

What angles are best for noodles?

I do believe that a "chipper chain" ground at approx 10 degrees should give good results. BUT, I am open to correction or advice. :givebeer:

What angles are best for noodles?

The question is: do you really want to make noodles or do you want to block the rounds down with less wear and tear on your saw?:jawdrop:

Seems like a good time to say thanks !

Have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks to all, that have helped us along the way and for this Great Site! This year has been a huge health challenge and I was only finally able to run a saw this past October for 1/2 a day. Yet I was always able to come here, AS, and find laughter, peace...

    Br 600 - p/n#?

Good morning guys: LMAO over the Br600 blower discussion yesterday - highly entertaining. Me I'll keep my 600. Question - I was tweaking the high speed jet and lost the limiter cap - is there a specific part number or is it even necessary. It seems really tight but I don't want to take...

Help Picking A Small Limbing Saw

MS200 rear handle I can't comment on some of the other saws mentioned here - cause I've never run them. I can say with all honesty that the MS200 is a snotty little b**t@H of a saw that I love to run. Yes it is pricey(I was flush the day I bought it) and have never looked back. Its fast...

    Notes from a non-arborist

Good comparison. The EPA is screwing up saws also. your dealer should have set up your saw (ie: checked the tune) before he gave it to you. And it will definitely will need to be retuned as it breaks in. Aprox 10 tanks of fuel. Mine gained almost 1000 rpm on the high end and was making me...

    BR 600 Snowblower!!!

Honestly - I really get a kick out of people looking at me and scratching their heads. I just keep laughing to myself and they usually stay away. I've been accused of "not playing well with others".

    BR 600 Snowblower!!!

Both times it was just starting to crust over, no problem. Its just plain fun and no wrestling with the 200# hunk of steel.

    BR 600 Snowblower!!!

Hey guys, I'm sure I'm not the first, but the last 2 snows I've used my blower and it was actually faster than the snowthrower. Yes, it was powder, but 4-5" of snow by hand would have taken some time. Oh, btw, my thrower's discharge is snafu - parts on B/U. I got a real kick out of watching...
