Thats what I did and still no spark ...so I guess my coil is shot?... It is in an aftermarket big bore 52mm , 372...she was running wide open under heavy load (about 18" of hard wood) and she ran out of gas...filled her up with fuel and could not start her...no fuel to the cylinder.....so I...

050/051 Cylinder Bolts - Do They Need To Be Torqued?

I agree with the guys that say ..."just snug it down tight"...it is aluminum and aluminum is ductile.... and expands when it gets hot...probably a good idea to do opposite (cross) bolts first...snug... and then the other two snugger and then the first two snugger.

Interesting piston from an Ebay seller in Singapore

Maybe we were a bit hasty in voicing our opinion.:)....looks like there are some guys on here that have experience with them...and now, I guess, I'd give it a shot...in a used, not pristine cylinder....maybe?...... If it holds up...use it! ...and if the price was right, order some more!

Interesting piston from an Ebay seller in Singapore

That piston looks like a design of several Husqvarna models. But it is a copy only. I would say the whole thing including the box is a copy. And you do not know the composition of the metal in the piston. And you do not have much recourse if it fails.

    Why no old Husqvarna saws.

    Why no old Husqvarna saws.

    Why no old Husqvarna saws.

I bought a 61 in Durango, Colo in 1973. The 61 precedes the Rancher...they are the same saw....except the "Rancher"...has the "Rancher" decal...

    Why no old Husqvarna saws.

61's were introduced in the early 70's and the 2100 in the mid 70's and they are are still competing....still kick sthils out the window...

    Aftermarket 394 P+C

By gum...there is a 58mm BB...just checked it Baileys. I stand corrected..that ought to be a real ripper.. Thank you JJ..

    Aftermarket 394 P+C

The 395 develops more power due to improved carburation..but the cylinder dia. is the same as the 394.

    Aftermarket 394 P+C

The 394 and the 395 are the same diameter....so there is no BB...

Husqvarna Jonsred Prem. Sealed Chainsaw Crank Bearings

There is a guy on ebay, selling sealed bearings to replace the open-faced bearings on most Husqvarnas..this is what he says: "The factory installs an open style bearing with an outer seal. This bearing usually fails due to condensation which builds up inside the case (which causes the...
