Thanks for the reply. Yes with oem i wouldnt worry either but seeing that this cylinder already broke a ring was a red flag. So are you certain .0008 end gap is ideal?

Hey fellas, I got my hands on a 365xp that had no compression. turned out to be a broken ring. i ordered a meteor piston with caber ring. when i put the ring in the bore without the piston the end gap is extremely small, about .0003 thousands. im thinking the small end gap is why the other...

Well after pulling the muffler screen the problem was obvious. Caked full of crap. Took it outside without the screen installed and she sounds badass and has a ton power. Cheers.

It sounded like it was running really lean, and I was told about the bad accelerator pump in these carbs. So I replaced the carb with a new hutzl carb and it's still running the same. With the air filter off you can see the gas spraying back out of the carb which leads me to believe the muffler...

It sounds like the screen to me.... will check it and post results.

have a 200t with a bad bogging issue. the saw is in really good condition and not very old. i couldn't see it leaking air as its pretty new. so far ive replaced the carb but still having the issue. piston and cylinder are like new, lots of comp. are the mufflers prone to plugging up? the saw...

Hey fellas. I'm wondering what ignitions will work in the 2100? I have an ignition from a 285 that is a slightly different Shape then the one in the 2100. They are both type GA SEM. The back side of the flywheels seem to be different also but I'm told it willwork. Any input? Check the pic.
