    Husqvarna 240 Pic Request

My Bro-in-law just picked up a used Husqvarna 240 in pretty dang good shape. When he was cutting with it the chain got hot as all get out, and when I checked it for him, I discovered that the chain was getting no oil. But I noticed oil pooling along the front of the clutch cover when the saw...

    Only 3 Chainsaws Left

Funny how as time goes by, life changes, and you can tend to change directions. :) At one point I had nearly 125 chainsaws in all different states of repair. About half of them actually ran and would cut wood. Most were parts saws, that were purchased for a certain part to cannibalize to...

    028 Super Ignition Replacement

Well... it has been quite some time since I've actually had to buy a repair part for one of my Stihls. But the 028 Super is showing signs of the Electronic ignition going out. Stalling out when it warms up... then a bear to restart until it cools off. It's my main elk camp saw, and it made...

Allright. It's about time that this be addressed in the open. :bang: There are a number of members, particularly in this portion of the forum, who contnue to act like children and have to constantly name call, and finger point. Then when the shoe is on the other foot... they cry about it...

    Misery Whip

So I found this 6 footer today. Got a hell of a deal on it. It's super sharp and well oiled. The wood it's tied to was made to hold the saw for storage to protect the cutters. Anybody else have any of these? Or maybe some old fallin' axes? I've got 3 old fallin' axes as well. Gary

    "Limbing" Saws?

I see this mentioned all the time here. I'd never heard the term until I came to this site some time ago. So my query is... do some cats actually fall a tree with a large saw (say a 60cc plus)... and then shut that one down... and then start up a smaller saw to "limb" the tree... and then...

    Found Some Writings...

So I was diggin' through a pile of old Navy paperwork that I was gonna pitch in the "circular file 13", and thought I better go through it all in case there was something important. Anyways... I found one page scribbled in pencil on the back of one of my PQS (Personell Qualification...

Why does everybody "quote" so much in threads? I cansee where you are quoting from earlier in the thread to a post that is relevent to your post. Or you are using part of a quote to answer with your post. But every single time to reply? ...also... why does everybody also leave the "pic...
