Just about to finally get this thing finished.... Wonder what gauge wrap everyone is using? I picked up some U Line 55 Gauge Cast which is supposed to be close to standard 80 gauge stuff. Seems thin to me though. Let me know what your using

Should be finished with a video in the next week. Buddy was waiting on rollers. He wants to try and apply tension to the wrap from the outside vs doing a spring on the end.

Wish I could find them that cheap around me.. They are close to $150 Cnd for them. Found these lately instead.. Not as mobile but fully enclosed from the weather and hold almost a cord.

Tried that and didn't get anything.. Then tried again today, its an older unit and they may not even have the information for it.

Just wondering if anyone can help me figure out the approx weight of a setup. I am trying to figure what I can scale on a truck and can't seem to locate any information on the roll off setup.

What brand/model hoist are you using? I like the idea of the electric because of the simplicity of it vs the PTO. Yes 34 cord is a typo lol. Its likely going onto a GMC 6500 or a Ford F750.

In the process of piecing together a 3 or 34 cord delivery truck, trying to find out if its cheaper to go with a 12 volt electric hydraulic pump vs a PTO pump. Would the electric option have enough pressure & power to dump that much weight? similar to this...

I believe this is true, but that would be a bridge crossed once it was deemed a good process.
