    Missing a few boys tonite

Best Wishes and Stay Safe Lot's of people do stupid things as they try to 'help' in times like these - so stay clear of 'em and double check your steps! Ya' gotta be able to tell us all the stories later! I can appreciate what you're going through...it only took this 80ft pine fractions of a...

    Looked at Husky's tonight......

LOL! Best I could hope to negotiate is to wind up w/ my own dishwasher out in the barn...I'm pretty much banned from getting my 'projects' near the household appliances. :buttkick: Bye for now friends...hope to SEE y'all a few days from now. I'm headed in for eye surgery to hopefully end...

Stihl MS 361 vs Husqvarna 55 Rancher

I represent that remark! :biggrinbounce2: I don't have a fireplace and don't sell firewood. I could've stuck w/ my hand-me-down Craftsman 2.3 and kept it runnin' for a long time, but then what would I do? Play golf?:bang: How many homeowners need a Duramax, Cummins, or PSD? Or even a truck...

    066 Poly vs Metal

I don't get how the 'spooling up' has anything to do with torque in the cut...does anyone actually measure acceleration time out of the wood? I mean I know a 346 spools up quicker than a Super Wiz 66, but how much diff does it make on an 066 w/ metal or poly and does it matter? Holding...

    Dealer or omline for Husky's???

But you're not buying Stihls...you're buying Husky's! Might need that local dealer....:ices_rofl: I agree w/ Freak. Skip the 357 and get a 372... Maybe just get a 5100s and a 372 since dealer support is a non issue. Chaser

    066 Poly vs Metal

Heavy flywheel on a tractor...typically...and brush blade on a trimmer. Both help preserve RPM through intermittent increased load. Neither are bolt-on's for HP or torque. ..

    Made my decision

Don't sweat it, but you should make THEM feel the way YOU feel by asking..."Was it a mistake that you charged me nearly double list price or is there a credit of some sort that should've been indicated?" Give 'em some room to make it right. MS250 w/ 16" b&c is $309 here (price went up from...

    swift split?

I think the two of you would kill it in an almost immeasurably short time frame... But it does fill a void in the market. And is probably especially good for folks w/ limited mobility, etc... Chaser

Maybe swap it even for a spare BAR and hard case! $41.70 has to be a national record for a 16" loop... ..

    066 Poly vs Metal

    066 Poly vs Metal

Or the 440 crankcase that only served to increase shipping costs... Or the fancy China starter handle...or... Man did you ever work wonders on that thing! And yes, I'm planning on new plastic for it... filter cover and cylinder cover...I'll holler at 'cha. Which...

    066 Poly vs Metal

    Fallen Trees

Here it's supposed to hit about 78 today... If we got your kind of snow and ice and temps we'd probably have 100 percent of our trees on the ground! :dizzy: ... Computeruser makes a good point. Plenty o' 026/260 saws can be bought used for $250 or less and that is a good...
