oil pump thanks for the info.bought a pump from stihl dealer.37.00 holy cow. I should have junked the darn thing.

no. don,t think the 025 pump was ever adjustable but not sure. all my other saws are red.

I have only one stihl. my only saw with a break. anyway replacing clutch assembly no problem and replacing oil pump. on my ipl it shows 2 different pumps(.55 and .65). when I call the local stihl dealer in the morning to order which one should I get. Is the difference the length of the passage...

want to try a 750 mod again.last one didnt have enough smoke to run a 10 pin. would like to hang with 88's.could anyone post pics or dimensions of a good port job for a 750?

I have been looking for a super 650 for a while but always to pricey,So i decided do redo another 750 i had in the shed.The clutch didn't look right so I realized it was infact a super 650 w/ a 750 cover on one side.Any way the fuel tank leaks and i tried to split it but the screws kept breaking...

homey bashing I,ll put a 750 up against any 880 that some joe paid almost 2000 clams!!! for.

sxl I have work on a ton of these ol boys.The switch may be un hooked or bad wire. also check fuel filter and check line for holes.fresh gas?

got a mildly worked 750 that may be the heaviest saw i have used and not the fastest,but definitley the best sounding.

750 I may be able to part with one,have one with everything new except fuel tank wich was painted instead of replaced.even new decals.has 30 inch oregon bar which was planed and painted ..404 chain.have new airbox assembly but never installed.shooot me a price or i might trade for a JR...

750 looks like the pic didn't turn out to good.oh well.

just finished restoing this one.didn't do much painting cause i had almost all new exterior parts lying around.bar is a 60.saw runs has about 160lbs of comp and pulls the 404 skip pretty good.

bar I got a 30"er from gb with sprocket nose .063.it is 3/8 so i changed my drive sprocket but i am sure they make them in 404.it was about 65.00.make sure you get the big homey slot.

750 lots of dimensional changes mostly header diameter and stinger length.

Finally finished this one today.Ported intake and exhaust,polished transfers,pipe of course wich took the longest to get right.I had a lot of suggestions mostly with smaller dimensions but i found this pipe worked the best.runs a 20" roller with a 10 pin.3/8 chisel w/.35 rakers.burns 110 sunoco...

30" xl I also ran this bar on a 360 w/skip.No problems

comp test About 125lbs .Also the brake seems to be inop.

xl bars I have a super xl that runs a 30" GB with skip 3/8 and she pulls it just fine.
