So what do you guys think about your first autotune or mtronic saw after you have ran regular carbs for years??

I’ve not had to recalibrate my 261 in the 4 years I’ve had it. I always try to let it idle for a minute or so when shutting down for a while.

    Wear those chaps people

Small saws and short bars.....probably a good idea. The older I get the more I spend on safety stuff.

Are "chainsaw gloves" really just gentleman's driving gloves?

Menards also has gloves that are almost a green copy of the echo gloves.

DeWalt DCM565 cheap cordless top handle?

Their newer saws are pretty decent. I gave my son their 18v top handle and now tempted to buy another :)

    Has Oregon chain really changed?

Can't speak of newer Oregon chains, but since switching to Stihl saws/chains about 5 years ago I'd say that the Stihl chains have been way better.

People don't yet take battery operated chainsaws seriously.

One comment I've not seen on battery saws is the bar oil. Much below 70° F seems like I need to use the lighter winter grade oil as there's no engine heat to warm it up. The heavier oil just won't flow. I have a number of Stihl saws including the MS220, Echo 58V and Makita 18 & 36v units.

    M18 FUEL Batteries

40 years ago in high school the grocery store chain I worked at had a price book that showed all 7 of their store zones. I was always amazed at the differences in price across the 7 zones. Sometimes they were quite large.
