I seen on here someone posted pics of a crib they built to cut firewood to lenght after it was split could you please post the pics again I cant seem to find them.

I use grain bags I fill it 1/2 full I get the bags from a seed cleaning plant close to me, he gives me all the bags when a customer orders way to many, and this way the camping person has a neat clean storage bag for there wood or garbage.......

is it still avalible and will you ship to Canada

Has anyone built there own firewood cutoff saw if so lets see some pics.....

we need to add to this list IE if someone has a moisture meter and they could test some of the woods not listed in the list and post them I myself do not have a meter but I tested some wood I have here with a volt meter and it really does work.

yup thats the baby why would it have two triggers? was this saw designed for a specific purpose?

no all jokes aside it wouldnt take big anything to start that saw and use it with the chain hanging like that, that would just be pure stupidity we all have to keep 1 thing in mind safety first

I lent it out and got the saw back with the chain like that. and to run a saw like that you gotta have big ones and big arms help also :-)

the compression is still good if I got the numbers off the saw would this help in determining the CCs and possible a bar size?

homelite Hey there could anyone help me with info on this saw as in what CC it is and what is the longest bar I can put on this saw and help is appriciated. here is what i know about it yup homelite the recoil cover is not the original the original was lost.

for the frame use an old crop sprayer frame for the rest of the splitter use an I beam and a hydralic ram say off of an old grain truck, find a pump off an old JD tractor a tank from a versitile combine and make a wedge out of grader blade and slame the wedge into the wood and its splits like crazy

I would be happy buying it at that price, I contacted the refinery here and they can sell me a 45 gallon drum for little over 100$ I think that will be the way to go
