I ported a husky 390 for a west coast faller and he started to believe that it was over rated until his coil quit and he had to go back to his stock back up. I had to do his back up after that.
In theory I believe it should work, but I don't know for sure, I will look at some part numbers and ipls on stihls b-net and give you a better idea this afternoon.
I thought it was a snake oil before I tried it, now we use it at the shop all the time. At the very least it stabilizes fuel and removes water but it seems to do quite a bit more than that.
The Canadian price I saw from a discrete email from my stihl rep was 149.95. Still high after the cost of the saw. Saws after jan 1 already have the new parts installed.
