I cut a load of firewood with the new filter without the pre filter and it worked great. I came home and gave it a shot of compressed air and it's looking like new again.
I think My ms-250 would be a Glock 26,It's tiny compact and light but still gets the job done. On the other hand I think My MS 460 would be more like a 1911... a time tested classic you can always depend on, with plenty of options for upgrades.
Do I have to change my Sprocket to change the gauge. I would like to put a 36in bar on my Ms 460, but all I can find is 36in bars in .63. Currently I'm running a 28in ORW in 3/8,.50.
Thank you
I would get the bigger saw hell go for a 460 it's only a couple lb, heaver then a 362 and will pull a 32-in bar no problem I have a 290 & 460 and will take the time to put a 25 in bar on the 460 over using the 290.

Your saw should have an adjustable oiler turn the saw over and you should see a small hole with the same arrow as on your sprocket cover where you adjust chain tension. Get a small flathead screwdriver and turn the oil adjustment screw clockwise until it stops.....You should be good to go after...
Which saw is it for...some of the Stihl filters can be split in half. Hot soapy water works good along with a tooth brush, compressed air wooks really good too. Always have a back-up filter though:rock:
That sucks!!!! On my last order from Baileys I picked up a Mingo firewood marker and got a really off blue color, makes cutting firewood easer plus all my wood is marked.
