On page 3 my dad tbow388 had a few methods the second one of me starting the saw while he watches is not true. We both sit in a rocking chair ( no not together) and my 130 pund half bull mastiv half great Dane pulls it. The compression on the Mac is incredible so so times the saw yanks him back...

Does anyone got a piston from an super XL 12? I think I can also use a piston from a XL 101

I wasn't exactly chain saw shopping me and my dad were looking at this dudes collection and happened to have some parts.. And the guy told me that the reason it probably did that was because the air filter was holy and like eroding

So today I was at a shop working and getting parts for my first fix. While getting my stack muffler found out that my piston was scored. Well, so is the piston on the other homelite XL 12 that I have for parts. I'm looking for a piston if anyone has 1.

While at a chainsaw shop today swapping around parts, I found out that my chain saw has a scored piston. Well, So does my other homelite XL 12 that I'm using for parts. Any ideas of where I can get a new piston or anyone that has one? Not a good way to start a first fix.

Alright warped I will all I know is that I have a homesite carb..

carb issues almost FIXED Well I messed with the carb a tad bit and pulled it started for about 5 seconds..... then it'll still do that just wont stay running
