Recalibration... Has anyone ever done the "recalibrations stuffs" and spent the next day or two trying to convince yaself it actually did something but in reality it did nothing saw runs exactly the same? 🤔 😆

Anyone ever had the oil tank gasket fail and leak oil into the crankcase. OMG saw has some crazy compression when that happens usually the starter fails and breaks been there done that... 😆

I don't run saws for work anymore. I only cut my personal firewood through winter here I go through about a tonne a week.. I don't even consider that as running a saw it's such little work compared to the hrs I used to do running a saw. I'll never wear a saw out nowadays my saws spend more time...

I agree with him about the ms661 what a let down unreliable untunable junk as a main work saw. Compared to 066/ms660 that is, they were some of the most reliable saws ever made.

Has the guy selling the 066 got anymore pics? Why no Stihl elasostart? the round top 066 down here had elasostart handle. This is a fake chinese ms660 see the crap starter handle. This is an original 066 I thought they all had elasostart?

I personally believe the slit is to disturb the forward flow of the side outlet to help not set bark on fire. By the way a Aussie ms660 has a from memory 13 or 14mm side outlet compared to the epa choked up American 8mm side outlet I believe but yeah is something like that.

Could be a bargain... Or a money pit like the guy on here recently with his bargain $300 early ms880 things got real expensive fast for him unfortunately.
