    PowerSharp!!!!

Wanted to say thanks for the help so generously given by members here and post some results I found. I put on a new 14 inch Power Sharp chain and installed a new stone in the cassette. My intention was to use the roots/stump on the neighbors property as a way to make cuts and accomplish...

    Poulan S25 fuel line replacement

Welcome Mack. I use a big set of channel lock pliers to hold one side of the flywheel. I’m sure that is not exactly the ‘right’ way to do it. Out of about 50 or 70 removals I slipped and broke a fin once when I first started doing that. Since this model of saw uses the fuel line as a seal...

    Hand filing sucks!

Flat as glass and then dull again in 20-60 min? I have not run it yet but, one (possible) option would be chain sold by Bailey’s that they call ‘sprayed on carbide’. Files normal when it does dull, I would assume grinds too. Just a thought.

Rigging Whole Trees with the GRCS - Presented by TreeStuff.com

Wherever you decide to place videos like this is fine with me, just please let me know. For the last 30 plus years I thought I was supposed to climb as high as I dared in trees like that and let 20 foot tops rip down past my shoulder as they spear into the ground. I don’t feel dumb but, I...

    Damn back spasms!

That does seem stupid. (Sarcasm) Oh wait, thats one of the things I forgot I had tried. It felt great too - for a while. I bought several sets to cover work and different shoes. $500 entry and up to about a thousand before I relized I was no longer getting the 'good' feeling from them and...

PowerSharp on the Saw Chain Sharpener

Hi Procut. Type “PowerSharp” into the search function and you can get a bunch of info.. I will soon post more in the form of testing chain to destruction. (Stumping, rooting, with lots of dirt.) If you like filing as I do search “Chainmeister” in case that meets any of your filing needs.

    Damn back spasms!

Treesmith, Welcome to ArboristSite. Somehow I had missed your post earlier. Great post by the way, that could change someones life. It certainly sounds like it changed yours. Pain is one diagnostic tool. When I have been writhing on the floor and crying and whining as I crawled to the...

    PowerSharp!!!!

PowerSharp Eng, Thank you for addressing my pictures and yes I will get a picture that shows the right hand cutters as you asked. Though I must tell you that I am already looking forward to telling my tree service customers that this is the answer for them. To have a good cutting saw and be...

    PowerSharp!!!!

How many pictures do you/the forum/the thread want put up to show progression of testing a chain from new to nearly used up? I have about 16 that could be of interest. dboyd351 I now think you are right that it was more the way I used it. Am going to keep that chain and stone combo and...

    Introducing the Chainmeister

Had to read through the thread from the top again, yep I’m in the right place - a marketing thread! “Oh shoot, maybe I’m kind of conning people!” No sure enough they said they asked me if I would be a part of sharing what I thought about the Chainmeister. What they didn’t say is that I...

    Damn back spasms!

We all have our own way of going about things. If I can help let me know. My usefulness on this topic may be what I know is possible. You know how the conventional wisdom (western medicine) says that as we get older our discs between our vertebra degenerate and get thinner. They can even...

    PowerSharp!!!!

Philbert, thank you so much for your well thought out and thoughtful reply. I do have the chain and will take pictures of stone as well to post. I may have turned the cassette over between sharpenings and I don’t think so but, may have pushed on bar hard enough to flex. I will put on new...

Bandit 65XP is it worth it?

RDAA I think the 65XP is well suited to what you are looking for. I have an older version 65AW which is lighter built than the XP (1850 lb. total wt.). This chipper was a replacement to a 5500 lb. Bandit 1690 which had bearing issues and is a temporary stop gap measure to make it possible for...

    PowerSharp!!!!

Was excited to get onto threads about the PowerSharp system from something Philbert said elsewhere. Have read through the pages of at least two threads and have a single question remaining. Is this a functional chain for homeowner use from new to dead? A year ago I was given a complete...

    Damn back spasms!

Good post zogger, Ha! reminded me I had a really nice inversion table 30 years ago too. “Freeking painful, like pass out painful for years, now maybe 4 weeks outta the year. But..thats reality.” Is that what you want to remain your reality?

    Damn back spasms!

Hear is a different post I did at another place and time that may fill in some gaps. I feel like I have a hand full of things to share that others may not be aware of, or, I through experiences in life might have a fair amount of dexterity around. The idea of having a body that works to do...

    Damn back spasms!

This is a little info. I had posted elsewhere in answer to a specific question, I think it might be of use here: After 35 years of hard work/tree work and dealing with a lot of major pain I now think that our bodies are capable of working well until the day we die-without pain. I used to...
