    be careful with portable genererators

Yep, I totally agree. It's good to place the generator in an attached garage, but pipe the exhaust to the outdoors. It minimizes the noise and eliminates corbon monoxide poisoning.

A vibration issue like that sounds like a flywheel out of balance. Are there any missing fins?

Scored this weekend!! $40.00 for 2

Those two saws look quite a lot alike. They both must have been built right close to the color change year. Those old Homies are well built saws. I had an old C5A with the same muffler as the blue one there and yes it did have quite a cackle:hmm3grin2orange:

    Craigslist score plus

Yea, I bought a 295 Pro on Ebay that said "reconditioned" When I got it, it was totally brand new. I still use it to this day and haven't had any troubles yet. You did great, getting yours for 30 bucks though. I think I paid about 124 bucks or so, for mine, but what the heck. It still runs...

How many of you would like to see a new STIHL 090 10 CUBE?

A Stihl 090 probably has the same size piston as my 18hp Evinrude. I wonder if it is a 3 ring piston.

    Point Gap on Stihl 031?

Well, it looks like I'm going to need a condensor. After I got the points filed and cleaned up, the spark puked out after a few minutes. That's okay, it's probably due anyway. ####, this saw is only about 30 years old.:greenchainsaw:

    Stihl toy chainsaw

Toy chainsaws will likely hold as good of value as the real things....or maybe even better. I know the vintage toy outboards are worth as much or more than the real ones.:chainsaw:

    Embedding images in your posts

In cases where the pics are added as thumbnails, I just right click on them and select "Open in New Window" and open all of them individually. I do like the inbedded ones better though, so you can see all at the same time. Here is a fine example of emedding.:greenchainsaw...
