Want to Buy 288 AV springs/tank mounts

Not the front 7th mount, the rear ones. I like to run a mix of springs and rubber, and I'm short on springs. Yes, I know they can be bought new, but I don't care to spend $15 ea for a bunch of them. Thanks

Drawbar Pull - tracks vs. tires?

I got curious about skidder pull vs. dozer pull. Didn't find much about skidder pull online with a quick search, so I thought I'd try to generate some discussion. Appears dozers can pull at least 1.5 times their weight. For grins, here is my "Skidder".

    Felling brittle wood

We had a discussion going in a hijacked thread, here’s more trying to get hinge time Open block face, thick hinge, and high back cut seems to work, with a winch anyway. Would be the devil to wedge. @trains @Ted Jenkins

Want to Buy 288xp ignition parts, etc.

I bought a box of pieces here...for right now I just wanna get it to run...full build after the 61/266/272 builds. Rough castoff hand me down parts is fine for oogly here. That mainly means ignition parts...maybe just a module. Flywheel shroud. Eventually a loaded clutch cover/brake. Missing...

    Sold Jonsered 2252 Snellerized

I got it from @chipper1 to try a ported 50cc. Rad little saw, nice 'n clean, but I need more $ and less saws...gonna go back to my 2050s for small stuff, I dig the older style. Also, my @Benwa ported 2159 is pretty lightweight for the "little bigger" stuff. Pro saw, mag case, autotune. Nice...

Making a cheap AM top end run

Moving this over from the regular chainsaw forum. I bought a rebuilt 2159. Top end is a $40 Ahlborn China kit. Didn't have any power, only 100psi compression. I got a new 357 top end for it but in the meantime I decided to play around with it at work (machine shop) and see if I could get it...

    2159/359 - help me make a Chinese P&C run - port timing

So I bought a rebuilt 2159. Top end is a $40 Ahlborn China kit. Didn't have any power, only 100psi compression. I got a new 357 top end for it but in the meantime I decided to play around with it at work (machine shop) and see if I could get it to run decent. Squish was .050" so I took .028"...

Dallas Fort worth area dealer with rental/test saws? 60/70cc?

Howdy. I'm looking for a used pro 60-70cc saw to go between my 50 and 95ccs. I'm isolated in the SoCal desert but will be traveling to DFW, so looking to try some saws if I can find some. Also feel free to weigh in on the decision. Maybe a mini GTG? Thanks

Is there a (South)West coast dealer like Spike60?

Looking for a good servicing Jonsy dealer, hopefully with used saws available. Someone who likes what they do and doesn't mind chatting about saws and educating their customer a bit. If not, I reckon I'll just plan on paying some shipping... Thanks!

Good small, light, rear handle saw? ~30cc

I grew up using a Mac 130, but it died. Might scrounge up another for sentiment, but dealer says parts no longer available. I’d like small and light, with the “rear top handle” like the Mac. Looked at some cheap homeowner Stihls at the only saw shop around, not sure if they’re worth messing...
