    Carbide Chain

I’ve use the carbide chain that has the top of the tooth brazed to the cutter link . Works super well . Not all that fast . Semi chizel setup . Does hold up super well in dirty wood . Runs the same as Rm stihl chain . A nail will take the cutter tops off and if you try and cut roots it will...

    Acuiring, training, retaining employees

If you find someone young that wants to work and learn and is dependable... pay him enouph he won’t wander elsewhere .... the milenial generation for the most part is a bunch of entitled d-bags that you have to worry about hurting there feelings by telling them that they almost killed you or...

    Shop Safety, please watch

Saw a pic once of a 2500square foot ish garage that was being heated by one of the standalone propain space heaters . Pushed out the block walls all around and lifted the entire roof off . The garage door and both man door where pulverized . Scary stuff . I really need to buy a fire cabinet

    Shop Safety, please watch

Wow that’s a really nice bench vice !!! Check out this vid also . Shows how to turn on oxy/acet. Tanks . I see people do it wrong all the time and make them watch this . It’s scary how many people use a hot wrench and have no idea how the things they do can kill them ..

    How screwed am I?

Cylinders do break . It’s just how it is . It’s very possible buy what the back of the blade looks like is the piston got wedges behind the blade . I would not trust flush welding the end back on .the weld on that setup Is just to hold the rod in the hole of the end ring . It will never hold up...

    Buy or lease torch tanks?

What is wrong with the tanks that they can’t be retested ? Also we have a few scrap places that take old propane and torch tanks and the sort . Its only a couple bucks but they take them . Only time I had trouble with tanks not able to retest was they sat in dirt for 30 some years and They where...

    Buy or lease torch tanks?

If they are leased tanks it’s the person that leased them to pay for them if not returned . There are way to may companies and tanks . You can get any name from most supliers . Air gas is strict their tanks only . Also never have I dropped off “my tanks “ and had that exact tank filled . They...

    Stolen tractor

Hard to type on my phone and some dope doesn’t always use their glasses . They are the size of a zippo and the battery lasts a couple weeks before recharging . Or you can hardwire to a 12 volt source . Lots of options on types and sizes . I have one that fits in a large hide a key case ...

    Buy or lease torch tanks?

I buy used tanks all the time auctions, yard sales , flee markets . Cl if the price is good .if someone leases a tank and sells it they are responsible to pay for the tank so it’s not a good idea to sell a lease on the sellers side . That said the doo all the time . I’ve picked up tanks for...

Buying a new "Clone" saw?? What do you think?

You really can’t go wrong with a 461 for a all around saw . But I prefer a 441 m tronic if swapping bar sizes and your altitude changes .

    Saws and starting to climb

Top handle for sure . Stihl 200t still has my love . I would take a 150 over a 193 . They are nothing close to the 200 or 201 but work ok . Used climbing line is only good for holding down hay bails on your truck or a cloths line . Don’t trust used rope that you are not personally involved in...

    Stolen tractor

First off .. if you can’t afford to replace it without financial troubles , insurance . It’s cheap for a tractor . Also a god tracker is less than 75$ and 15$ a month service . You get a txt if it leaves a geo zone you creat on a map and you can see its location and track on your phone .

    Stihl mystery chain

That’s possible I have at least 2 bars that the part number does not work in the us to replace the bar tips . Both are wide nose bars . 1 is a 30 inch and one is a 32 . I got both from out of the wonderful country to the north

    Stihl mystery chain

Wow dealers are a real distance apart in service . If I need presets my dealer usually just grabs a few bags off the bench and throws them my way . Not the cheapest dealer but I get good service . Can’t put a price tag on that .
