Would you loan your woodsplitter to your neighbor?

I borrow my brother's. It gets an oil change, and cleaned when I give it back. I always use non-ethanol gas in it too.

    Going to make an offer

I have it and have used it with his permission. The bar is like new as well as the saw. He didn't know he had it. I can use any of his Kubotas, along with his other equipment too. This winter he let me use his pick up because I usually ride a motorcycle. His wife is divorcing him because he is...

    Going to make an offer

My neighbor is up in age (80) and some what well off. I get all my wood from his property free of charge,so when I get the chance I do what he needs around the house and vehicle maintenance too. As I was repairing his shelving in the garage, I moved a book case and behind it was a Stihl MS361 in...

    Gas and Oil Containers?

I also use the No Spill brand gas can and a quart oil container for my bar oil. The gas containers seem to be well built and work great. I buy non-ethanol fuel in a bigger container then transfer it to my mixed fuel container which is marked accordingly.

    Your choice?

I own Stihl products and was told to use 93 octane in my machines. What gas would you consider using, 87 octane non-ethanol or 93 octane E10. Just thinking.

    Seasoned....is there too much?

Is there such thing as wood being too seasoned? I would think being outside there would be some percentage of moisture.

    Pick up truck load

I heat my home solely on the wood I get, and was asked if I would sell some. I don't mind helping certain people out, but will not be taken advantage of.

    Pick up truck load

I have a guy who wants to buy some of my wood, has an 8 ft bed on a F150. What is a fair price for wood stacked in his truck? I see thrown loads on 6 ft beds going for $60. Your opinions welcomed. I sold a little bit of wood 3 yrs ago for $150/cord and people wanted to talk me down. Too much...
