If they were 74, I'd be selling for alot more than $10! I think that's how we ended up with them, people meaning to order 26RM74 goofed and ordered 72. I'm not even sure what saws take this chain. I don't think 72 DL fits any Stihl. And .325/.063 is a rare combination for non-stihl saws.

I'm a dealer and I've never read or heard anything about not selling to certain people. I do know that Stihl modified their warranty policy on top-handle saws recently. All top handle saws get the 90 day commercial use warranty, even if the purchaser isn't using it commercially. Like AKDoug...

Serial numbers beginning with a 2 (made in USA) have all been used up. "5" will now denote made in USA.

Keep in mind that these extended warranties are kind of a marketing ploy. Stihl does the same thing, buy a 6-pack of synthetic oil, double the warranty. The odds of a manufacturer defect showing up after say 3.5 years of use is pretty slim.
