Should I believe this guy or................?

Here in Arkansas the department of forestry has consultants that will come to look at your property , and inform you of exactly if not close to what your timber is worth.I am not sure if there is a small fee but to speak to someone who is on your side would definately be worth it.

    stihl recall

I was just reading the Arkansas weekly and there appears to have been a recall on the Stihl MS 192 T chain saws. They were sold nationwide from january 2005 to July 2005. Supposedly they can leak fuel causing a fire hazard. The saws have a model number MS 192 T with serial numbers 264371702...

How much dirt can I add above tree roots?

I called thtem chips but mulch is still in my opinion the best way to go . My husband and i cleared several areas in our former home in N.Y. where atlantis and honey suckle were taking over an area of our property. We had several macintosh and maples that we wanted to preserve and also utilize...

    Black walnut tree pruning

If my husband was home i believe he'd say that you should not cut more then 1/3 of the tree at once. What you asked rang a bell, but i'm not sure if that applies to black walnut.

How much dirt can I add above tree roots?

oh yeah and if you're not in the tree business and go with the wood chip idea call a few tree companies to see if they'll give you the chips. Most of the time companies will give it away (try smaller companies first because they may not have as many dumping areas). If you're lucky they'll be...

How much dirt can I add above tree roots?

before he adds dirt he may want to find out if his area is considered wet lands. I dont know the legalities in Pa. but being from N.Y. originally our wet land laws were extreme. You may also want to lay wood chips down (if possible) to obsorb the additional moisture and give back to the soil...

Advice needed for starting a tree service business.

We all started somewhere, but honestly now Glaze did'nt mention any experience. I wish him the all the luck but i certainly dont want to pat him on the back and tell him that everything is going to be great. A tree service is'nt like opening a hot dog stand in central park. It requires...
