I am a offtopic but here goes: Tuning dolmar 5000 with a limited coil.Tuning to keep under the rev limiter(13500rpm) requires H screw 3,5-4 turn CCW and my tach is still reading 13200rpm.I dont think I have a leak.Is this ok? Thanks!

Hello! I have a dolmar 5000 similar to the 5100. Tuned 3 turns out on the H 12500 rpm.In the wood(fresh oak holds 8500 rpm).Factory settings says 13500 rpm. I am using stihl hp at 45:1 Its too rich?

Thanks! Other problem: If I keep the saw at WOT More then 10 secons the rpm increase from 12500rpm to 130000 rpm and then hit the rev limiter, tach goes crazy.Its that ok?

I have the same setup (the foam under the filter with a hole in the midle)at my dolmar 5000.The intake boot have a metal insertion. No problem at idle speed, but after the filter gets dirty(3 tanks of fuel) the saw at WOT hits the rev limiter.(H 3turns out 12500rpm mix 45:1).

I have a dolmar 5000 wich is the european version of your saw. I tuned mine at around 13000 rpm to be on the safe side and in the cut is doing about 9000rpm. Mix at 50:1 for a long time no problem. Mix today 45:1 seems to be working better and cooler!
