    Stihl 026 fuel line replacement

    Im about to drill mine out. But 10mm is btwn 3/8 and 13/32. 15/32 would be about 12 mm hole. 3/8 = .375 10mm = .394 13/32 = .406 15/32 = .469 12 mm = .472 are you sure the new larger line is 10mm? I guess i can drill 3/8 and work up if it doesnt fit Followup - i measured the new fuel line...

    Cleaning Chains

    I use the purple stuff also, but undiluted. It dissolves all the gunk. Be careful, it has a mild acid in it, and has to be rinsed off thoroughly. Use rubber gloves and goggles too.

    Thanks. I considered using a BP manometer, but there is a problem with that. A BP manometer is scaled in mmHg rather than PSI. To pressure test a crankcase, you have to generate about 8-8.5 psi. That translates into about 450 mmHg. The scale on a handheld BP manometer only goes up to 300...

    I've been lurking here for a while, this is my first post. I want to pressure test a carb and the engine. Has anyone ever made the piece to mount over the intake in place of the carb to hook up a pressure tester? What can I use as a nipple to attach the pressure/vacuum line? I hate to admit...
