Selling a 395 Front handle and crankcase. Its in pretty good shape. Was going to build it up but got too many projects and got my ported 394. Selling it for what I bought it for. $175 plus ride.
Have you done a preesure/vac test yet? If not you might be chasing ghosts. Get that cylinder fixed, put a piston in it and p&v test it. If its tight then try looking at the carb.
A little more info for somebody thats interested. This fits the 262 cases that have the mounting post on the PTO side of the crankcase instead of the slits in the crankcase like the earlier 262's did. I think they changed crankcases when the 261's came out. My heart took a little flutter when...
Dukes is a good outfit. They get some of there stuff unbranded to be competitive. I've never bought anything from them that didnt work the way it was supposed to, and that inckudes their pistons.
if your just starting out and tearing something apart, take pictures along the way to remind you of how the things were before you tore em down. There have been times I wish I wouldve taken a pic..beleive me...
