Now I love my x27 but if I left wood that I couldn't split I would have to cut down 4 times more trees and work a lot harder! I have yet to find a piece of wood that my H35T (Huskee 35 ton) wouldn't split!

Hmm that "twist" is sure interesting. Does it barely nic into the wood then just smack it like a hammer with the side of the blade? That is what it appears to me.

I leave rounds for 9-10 months then stack the splits inside in heated basement for 3 months. Works real good so far.

How about finding a set of larger tires?

I would call this a pretty good day. First started by out by clearing some trees at the lake. All tools were in use no staging. This is around 12 acres, 20 foot depth. It is still filling so we are cutting back trees as the lake fills. Clean up everything on site as we go. Don't want a tree...

All your firewood guys should be selling you seasoned wood. If not I would be calling them back and having them come out and pick this wet wood up. I guess if you are going to burn it I would get you a box of fire starters. They are cheap and will save on your elbow.

I could have heated for natural gas for the next 10 years for what I have in saws and wood furnaces and triple wall pipes. Still like my wood.

The CL7260 we have at the shop is multi fuel. It works great, especially for lighting fires. It will run half and half, all wood, all propane, or starting mode. Heats a 140x70x20 real nice, heated floors.
