I have an altec Highranger 60' over center forestry truck the top boom drifts down. it seems to drift faster when the truck has been run for a while. I had the bottom cylinder rebuilt and it changed nothing. it drifts with upper and lower controls. any ideas or suggestions would help.

I use a dremmel on chains that are really bad to even the them out, but i still need to use a hand file to sharpen them cause the dremmel does't quite put a nice edge on them.

If You have a pick up or trailer you can charge for cleaning up mulch, placing topsoil and seeding or sod. you can make more money on each job and you dont have to pay rental, but you will work up a sweat. Just something to think about.
