    Which badge?

, thanks, it was frustrating at first, had to put a stihl chain tensioner and decompression valve on it, and an nwp carb. It now it runs pretty good. We will see how long it last. So far I have about 20 tanks of gas through it and its breaking in nicely

    Which badge?

I would not have been able to get there fast enough, that had to be the biggest disappointment ever!

    Which badge?

Haha, I knew someone was gonna say that. It took a while to get it right but it is close to my real 660

    Which badge?

This is my farm tech 066 build with a big bore kit, and part of me really wants to put this 029 badge on it. You know the novice operators will be so confused when my 029 out cuts their 441.

    Jonsered 930 scored piston

Thanks much, I will give them a call, I am a little hesitant to replace the piston without the cylinder, in the past I have had much better results when I do both together. Especially when there is some visible damage to the cylinder.

    Jonsered 930 scored piston

So a few years ago I toasted the piston and cylinder in my jonsered 930, not sure what happened because the fuel was mixed right, it did not seem to have an air leak and it was running the proper rpm. In the middle of a 3 foot log I heard a little squeal and it was done, pulled the muffler and...

Been gone awhile, but cut this little guy down and figured i would say hi

Thanks Guys, but how could I not have missed anything? I was sure by now someone would have discovered what the best bar or 2 stroke oil is? :) I will say I have forgoten how bad this site is, all week I have been searching craigslist and Ebay for an 880 and a jug for my old 930

Jonsered 2071 finally fixed, Thanks for the help.

Makes sence, The filter was old, but the fuel line was fine, I just replaced the filter without looking at it real close, it may have had a whole that i missed, Now I wish I had looked at it closer before I tossed it, It looked dirty so i pulled it off and threw a new one on.

    bar suggestions??

I would not go the laminate route, If you that worried about weight the saw makes a bigger difference than the bar. That said I would get any solid bar by oregon, or windsor or whoever makes Husqvarna bars. One pinch and a laminate bar is toast and solid bars seem to last for me for less than a...

    "Green" lubricants

I would not run anything through my motor except Hi grade real Oil sucked from the ground. The enviroment will benifit because you saw will last 30 years instead of blowing up every year or two and causing more saws to be built. Oh yea, you pocket will be alot greener too not haveing to replace...

Jonsered 2071 finally fixed, Thanks for the help.

Weeks ago I recieved alot of suggestons on why my Jenred would not run without the choke, After replacing all the filters, checking for air leaks everywhere and a multiple carb adjustments failed to help I took the Carb apart to find right under the diafram and was another small screen that...

Jonsered 2071 quit today Where do I start?

Filters are pretty new but will double check them, Screen was removed long ago when I opened up the muffler but thanks. I thing you are on to somthing about a fuel leak. I did notice a little fuel had leaked out a week ago when the saw rolled over on the clutch side in the back of my truck...

Jonsered 2071 quit today Where do I start?

Was cutting a 30 inch white oak today and when I left off the gas after a few block cuts the saw shut off. It would not restart unles at half choke and quits as soon as I turn the Choke off. All I have done so far is Check compression (135 but my guage reads low and the saw is old) (Plug was the...

    Diffrence between a MS460 and a 046

Interisting, Do both your saws have the air filter system that does not need the sponge center? mine definatly had the old style intake that needed the sponge in the air filter.

    Diffrence between a MS460 and a 046

Im thinking my old 046 did not have a decomp but I could be wrong. Been a long while since I had it. Possibly the older ones may not have the valve. But if they are in good running order both are awesome saws. Really the same saw the newer ones just need to be opened up and tuned like the older...
