I last ran my old Stihl BG85 blower in October and now it’s mid March. I took it off the hook, and about a half cup of raw fuel pissed out of the exhaust. Had to pull the plug, and heat it up for it to pull over. What would cause this? Is the gas just leaking past the rings while it sits un used?

There’s not a number on this thing. Does anybody know what model it would be, or where to look for a hidden number?

I just bought a McCulloch 250 It’s a 1964 model and I’m looking for the carb kit for it. The Carb is a Tillotson HL 63G I’ve spent an hour online and I can’t find the number to the carb kit. Any ideas?

Just picked up this little gem from a guy that has had it since his junior high school days. (50 years) it's a 1955 or '56 Strunk Speedemon all position. He was from Northern Michigan but brought it out west when he moved to Utah. It last ran in the '70's but I'm hopeful to get it singing again.

I've used the hell out of my 261 lately and decided to break it down and clean it up. I always tap out the fine particles and lightly blow from the inside out. Can these filters be dunked in soapy warm water and flushed from the inside? I'm used to K&N filters for my vehicles being cleaned this...

This blower has worked flawlessly for years but lately the throttle trigger has a really slow return. Check out the videos. I'm ready to tear in to it but just wondering if anyone has seen this and can give me some direction. Thanks!
