    Brand new 576xp startup problems

I'm up on Hamilton mountain, just a few minutes away from the West Lincoln area. Picked up the saw from Boater's choice in Sudbury for $699 brand new..Non AT of course. I see you're in SW Ontario..I'm heading down to Lake St. Clair this weekend for a duck hunt...Hoping to get some diver action...

    Brand new 576xp startup problems

Thanks... Of course, this is what I did on all my previous saws..But perhaps because this is a brand new saw, I'm not hearing it pop. Plus, the decompression valve doesn't pop out. So i'm assuming it hasn't actually fired.. Please educate me..

    Brand new 576xp startup problems

Hey all... Just a week ago, I ended up trying out my new saw... No matter what i do, I always end up flooding the carb (at least I asssume so).. I can't hear the saw turning over, and I end up smelling gas. I find myself having to open the choke, hold the throttle, and do a cold pull (if that's...

576xp or 562xp AT Help me decide

Hey all... Thanks alot for everybody's help.. As practical as the 562xp was, I decided to go with the 576xp non AT..After taxes, and accessories (box, oil mix, greaser, hat), it still ended up cheaper than buying a 562xp..It's a case of my eyes being more hungry than my stomach. I'll keep you...

    Mix Oil brands and warranties

Two minutes and two replies... Boy, this forum is slow  Thanks....I'll keep this in mind, and won't beat myself over the head with it..I'll keep to the mix ratio (since all gallons sold are presized for the mix oils these days), and sleep a bit better.. How in the hell does Husky possibly...

    Mix Oil brands and warranties

Hey all... So both the Stihl and Husky mix ratios these days are stating 50:1 for the saws i'm looking at... For those of you perhaps running different saws, are you also running separate mix oil containers? Can I use Stihl brand mix oil in a Husky saw and vice versa? Is there a reason...

576xp or 562xp AT Help me decide

That might be the ticket.. I've only needed my 18" bar on my 365 on few occasions, and the 562 should be as good a replacement as any..As much as the 576xp is an amazing deal, I think it might be TOO much saw for my needs...I just hate letting go of a bargain price :)

576xp or 562xp AT Help me decide

Thanks... Unfortunately, in Ontario Canada, the gauging is different..We're paying 13% taxes on everything. Just as of last year or so, big ticket items were usually 15% higher in price than our US friends.. Our dollar has been close to par for several years or so, and we're starting to see a...

576xp or 562xp AT Help me decide

Hey all..Just a bit of background. I'm a weekend warrior, with 2 saws that were stolen from me that need replacing. Husky 245 and 365 SE. I was thinking of purchasing a 562xp AT for about $800 Canadian which is a fantastic price up here ($899msrp). The reasoning was, that this would be good for...

    No more business with Canada???

Yea, where‘s the “free trade“ deal signed by the governments :mad: Fortunately, people who live near the border get things shipped to adressess in the border towns. Heck, i think UPS has a holding box for minimal cost. Sorry to hear about this.. Sent from my LG-C800G using Tapatalk 2

    Husqvarna chainsaw models explained

Good catch. On a side note, i've found the Canadian and US site to be a bit different. The US site splits XP, Robust user, and all around users. The Canadian site splits between professional and non-professional. Not to drag this thread out, but i find the best bang for buck to be the...

    Husqvarna chainsaw models explained

Regardless of series, it seems that all the XP models have the magnesium crank cases...Surpisingly, the 300 series of XP saws come in a huge variety of displacements and options. It also seems that the old tried and true models are still in production. Raw power and displacement seem to trump...

    Husqvarna chainsaw models explained

Hey all... Been looking around for a while, and absolutely LOVE this forum.. Some background is in order. I'm the current owner of an older, but fantastic 45 model. I cut firewood several times a year, and have access to 18"-22" logs. I fell about half a dozen or so maples/oaks/beechwood...
