    Ticks

Had several dead ticks fall off our dog this year -- we use Frontline Plus for size 96#+dog-- it kills the ticks . Hate those little bastages!

    Whataya do with the crotches

Noodle down to a manageable size with whatever of my 2 saws is at hand. I'm not a pro, and good scrounges of firewood in legally accessible places can be hard to come by in my corner of NY, so I never waste a crotch. Besides they burn very well. I'm happy when an arborist/tree co. leaves them...

Fine dust getting past air filter

Indeed. And I would agree. Fine dust getting past air filter

In the GMT thread Sawtroll said a little bit of fine sawdust should not be a big deal. Kinda agree with that. And the photo above seems to indicate that indonesian loggers agree too, lol.

If you were told you could only take one saw?

I only have two saws so it's easy--the old 372xp with the 20 inch bar.

    Pine pitch on skin

Gotta be a sticky cleanup. I wonder what the west coast guys use. Is there a market for pine firewood in your area in a year's time, say, when it's seasoned a bit, or do people only want to burn hardwood? Personally, when it's seasoned I don't mind at all getting a fireplace fire started with...

How long has fried chicken and a waffle been a thing? When and Where did it start?

Yep , saw a photo of it prepared like that, cream gravy makes me drool. But when did the waffles creep into the equation. Maybe IHOP got so many requests, .. I dunno?
