    Another stump grinding nightmare.

I sold my grinder 2 years ago. Didn't really have time and machine was getting worn out. I would like to get another maybe a 362 or bigger. If i do my new rule would be to add a hundred dollars to any big silver maple estimate. I also did 3 huge cottonwood stumps 4-5 foot across. I was just...

    BCS tiller review

Ours is still going strong. plastic is getting faded thats all. I think it may need new tines. I think it actually spins to fast for its own good. The tines wear out prematurely.

    Bought a new 572 XP

it's kind of hard to compare since it only has a 20 inch bar on it. and I have only cut about a 10 inch diameter tree so far. But I will only buy husqvarna from now on. just seem more powerful and less vibration.

    Hard Cover for a Splitter

The plastic tank from a metal tote would probably work good. cut the top off and cut a slot out of 1 side for the tongue. or lay on its side and roll the splitter into it. it would cover most of it

Selling to the public - do you sign anything?

Like they say"you can be sued for anything you do, or don't do." doesn't mean they will win , but can make for some sleepless nights. I do some snowplowing and a guy slipped on a icey sidewalk and broke his arm. The property owners insurance paid his medical bills, and thats it. But i...

Have people who hunt your woods?

We let a few guys hunt our land, since I don't feel like hunting anymore. They all put up fricken tree stands and ground blinds. The one guy even brought a pole saw out there to trim branchs. It gets annoying, but we have alot of deer damage to our crops so I put up with it. I think they...

    Stihl ms291 help

My saws seem to run best on 87 octane. just my observation. I tried race gas once and my 066 wouldn't even run on it. ms 290 ran rich and air filter was soaked with gas.

    What causes bar/chain chatter?

I filed a little too much off my depth gauges once and it felt like i had a log chain on my saw.
