    Maxey Dump trailers

I've been looking at 16' dump trailers. I looked at PJ trailers, and Bri Mar, and Big Tex. These are all alike with respect to the way that their built, their price, standard equipment and options. I also stumbled upon Maxey trailers, but they don't have dealers on their website. Just curious if...

    89' superduty 4X4 conversion questions

I've been toying with the idea of making my 89' F superduty, 4 wheel drive, and have done a little research. Luckily, I have the 4X4 version of the tranny, But, I'm not sure how the tranny mounted parking break will come into play. I would like to keep it, but, If I add a BW 1356 transfer case...

    7.3 IDI fuel leak problem

After doing some research, I found an International part# as well. The guy at International said that everybody just replaces that part with a brass plug and and some Teflon tape. He said that all the part does is trip an idiot light on the dash board.

    7.3 IDI fuel leak problem

This is my '89 F Superduty fuel filter housing. Its a 7.3 IDI Navastar. The part inside the green circle leaks fuel when the truck is running. It looks like a primer of some sort, but I'm not sure. Can someone identify this part? Can I buy that part individually? Or, do I need the whole housing?

Need some quick help on a skid steer

Doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. Do you have an idea how old it is? John Deere, Hitachi, and Bell all have partnerships together. They build all different equipment for each other. The skid steer could be American, Japanese, or South African. Not that this anything to do with your question...

16" bars and thier number of drive links.

A buddy has a 400 EVL, with a 16" bar. He wasn't sure what type of chain he had. Turned out to be .325 and 66 drive links. Not sure of the gauge. I've seen other 16" bars with 325 pitch but a different number of drive links. Are they different types? Also, he is interested in an 18" bar. Does...

    ms 290?

This whole clam shell design thing is such a moot point. That design has proven itself over and over. The odds that someone will actually have to rebuild a 290/310/390 series saw, are probably 1 in a million. Never had a problem with that either.

A differeny way to chop down a tree.

My FIL came in the house yesterday, and told me that the guy across the street was chopping down a tree with a machete. Sure enough, he cut down a 14 inch oak. took him about 45 minutes, but he did it. Wish I had pics.

    Here is a problem.

Buy the Hyundai. It wont leave you on the side of the road. And, it was most likely built by Americans in America. Probably in Alabama.
