Stilh 039 worth it or not ??????

Dude, jump on it! My first new saw was a MS390, and it was a really nice saw, cut real well. It wasn't until I listened to the nay sayers here that I found out it was a pile of junk:) Don't believe any of that crap you hear, thats a good saw!:greenchainsaw:

Congrats! it will make a great saw for you.:) My first new saw was a MS390 and it cut real well, I really liked it until I spent too much time here, and then, Don't fall victim to the CAD,....... unless you want too!:greenchainsaw: Enjoy your new saw!!

I know you guys are going to be pissed at me, BUT

I agree in spirit with what your saying, but I just picked up an almost new 365sp, with the limiter caps, the low speed was so lean from the factory that I had to trim the limiter and back it out almost a full turn farther just to get it to run right, I'm sure it would have caused damage to keep...

husky 359 owners, what bar chain do you run?

    Howdy, I usually run a 3/8ths 16". I also run 3/8ths 20". 18" would be the ideal length in my opinion.:greenchainsaw:

    Husqvarna 357xp - 359etech comparison

QUOTE=blsnelling;2213447]IMHO, it's still a pro saw:) It's just a great value, especially if you grind your own cylinders. :agree2:

    Husqvarna 357xp - 359etech comparison

Hey Troll, not meaning to rile ya!:) The 359 isn't a racehorse, but for the money it costs here, it is a great value for a general purpose saw with a really good lower end. With just a little normal care it should last the average guy a lifetime, now the problem with that is, most guys around...

    ms 391

:) The problem with buying the 391 has nothing to do with the saw itself, it probably would be a great saw. The problem will be that you're hanging around here!:):) If you are trying to make this choice, you really want the pro saw and you won't be satisfied no matter how good that 391 is. Just...

Undecided MS 362 or Husky 365

If you're worried about the BB kit, get the OEM husky kit from Bailey's and then you'll be as reliable OEM and alot less than a new 362!

Awesome post man! The comparison pics and all, I've toyed with some porting work on my 359 and getting to see the two jugs together is great! I'm a total newb to porting so I'm hoping to learn a bunch from this thread. I hope the experienced guys will share their insights.:)
