Sorry. Just seen this. You will notice no difference in weight. Just a huge power increase. Depending on what combination you throw together. A slight muffler modification is the hardest thing to do. And it’s not that hard. Lol.

IMO. The base and squish cut will be the most important power gainer of that saw :) make sure that’s port of your trials.

IMO if a guy is gonna have 1 saw to do it all. A 60cc class saw is hard to beat. Of course we all know we should have the at least 2 saw plan. Lol. That said my 50cc saws are what I run 80% of the time.

The 490/500 are basically the same saw except the metal wrap handle. The 501 is the newest version. And it has an upgraded P&C. It’s much nicer for porting. It has solid transfer tunnels instead of bolt on tunnel plates.
