    Ok I see the light...SRT

You can make your own chest harness by tying 2 loop runners together. I made mine with one loop runner and an arborwear belt to keep it adjustable.

Man! I need a new saddle!

I’ve been on a treemotion for 4 years and the monkey beaver is a big upgrade in comfort. I bought the extra leg padding but found it more comfortable without them. They felt bulky and hot! The treemotion is good and has great maneuverability but the MB just holds u like a baby

Husqvarna 550xpg loosing power in side position

My 562 would lose power and/or die in the cut. They replaced the diaphragm and it’s run perfect for like 4 years now

friction cord / line recommendations for 135 lb. climber, SRT?

After using Yale 11.7 for years I actually don’t like it. I switched to the Samson voyager and it works perfectly with beeline and ok with epicord. It’s size is a nice blend between Yale and a 1/2 inch line and not so fat like vortex. When I climbed on Bigfoot rope I recall using beeline and...

Stihl yellow pico chain (PM) not on Sithl web site

I just bought 2 of those chains as well. 63pm yellow picco. I don’t like it. Cuts aggressive and chatters. I had to file it down to get it to cut smoothly.

    boots for spur climbing

The most serious bomb proof boot I've found is the scarpa fuego. So stiff like walking with a 2x4 strapped to your foot. I've had em a few months now but I'm done with them. Perfect for Spurs but too much for what I do.

The spine of my HitchHiker isn't anodized; is that a problem?

No it wears off quick and was more for color. They get pretty beat up looking when it scratches and chips so he stopped doin that a while ago.

    Anybody using the Hitch Hiker?

The 9.3mm is great. It's actually about the same diameter as the beeline, maybe even a little bit more supple if that's the right word

    summer is coming...warm weather pants.

Stretch canvass, double knees, complete freedom of movement u don't even know they are on and a good fit. They are light weight but holding up better so far vs my regular canvass pants. U can find them on Amazon for about $45 too

    Anybody using the Hitch Hiker?

I've tried quite a few hitches, cords and variations but I keep going back to the 6 wraps. It works well and is compact. The biggest difference you'll notice is finding the right rope/hitch cord combo. The hh seems pretty sensitive to that and a binding hitch and tough slack tending are common...

    which chainsaw to get?

I don't have that starting issue with my 562 but mine was dying in the cut. They said the diaphragms were stretched and rebuilt the carb.

how are you dresssing your rope bridges?

Nothing wrong with a ring but it's just personal preference if u want a pulley or swivel etc. I use a mini bat rigging plate on mine

do you prefer the larger heel (logger boots) or smaller for spurs?

Have u tried the georgia comfort core loggers?

    firm hitch cord

I agree with bob about the beeline and I'll add that beeline blue seems to have a bit more memory than the original. Also, I was looking at treestuff and noticed their Samson bailout cord. Description says its firm and doesn't flatten. Sounds like a good cord I'm just curious why u don't hear...
