Sold Want To Buy Milling Saw

Looking to start chainsaw milling. This will be a hobby, nothing serious. I am experienced with a chainsaw, but I have never used/needed anything big. Based on my research I’m looking for a Husqvarna 394/395xp, Stihl 660 Magnum, or any other 90+ CC saws. New is out of the budget so let me know...

Buy the 562xp or the 365? Christmas bonus burning a hole in my pocket!

I’m new to the site and I have question. I like the Husqy brand, do I get the 562xp or the 365, both are with a 20” bar. The price is the same at my local dealer that is 7 miles away. I have looked at the Stihl saws very closely too, but The Husqy dealer is closer and a good bunch. I am going...

    36" Bar on PS-7900?

I've got a Granville 36" mill, and a Dolmar PS-7900 (upgraded PS-6400). I'm thinking about getting a 36" bar so I can use the max capacity of my mill (on occassion, not all the time). Based on my research, the 36" bar is a bit long for a PS-7900 in general, but I'm wondering if it's ok to use...

Logosol m8/big mill vs trad. ASM

So I wanted to get a woodmizer but fear I'll be over extending myself so have been looking to make boards for my own uses rather than high production Why would I pay for a logosol vs the cheaper granburg. Am I missing something? Never looked at mills like this too much but wondering why...

    Sold Husqvarna 395XP (2005) $600.

"Fore Sell" is a good running, and pretty easy starting(five pulls with choke "on", and one pull "off") 395XP. This is a 2005 model that has been used, as seen in the pictures, but is a good solid saw. The compression check was after a very brief warm up period, and is 142-143psi at 4700 feet...
