Hello i have a 028 that i finally got to spark on. Now i have a fuel delivery issue will run with the air cleaner soaked in two stroke or gas down the carb. Repaced impulse lines and fuel lines. next thing im getting tank vent. Any ideas to help me not chase a ghost issues.

I'm starting this thread to find out what pistons and cylinders interchange with the 028 super av. There are alot of kits on the market now and I am interested in real world experience with them ,NOT" I heard blah blah blah works "answering ! Even if some other models bores or motor work.

I need a working sthil 028 woodboss chainsaw... any help is appreciated.... already been looking at ebay got burned once.

I've had this Stihl 028 AV Super (electric quickstop) for probably 25 years. It was my fist saw and I recently dug it out of the shop after years of sitting. I'd like to fix it up. Is this still a good saw and worth putting money into? I've always like the saw. With a new plug and fuel now...
