    222 stump grinder bearings

    I fixed my tire and repacked my wheel bearings but started to rain . I am sure some rain got into the grease . Will the bearings fail or should I pull the wheel and redo the grease . Thanks for any help

    The lower gear box and driveshaft went in my 2000 Vermeer SC502a. Vermeer wants $3700.00 to repair. $1700.00 being the cost of the lower gear box.
