Yes.
I can do both or get it done by a "real" welder.

Do a search on “muffler mod” in the search box and take a look at what other guys have done. I didn’t see any threads with pics of your family of saws but there are lots of other MM pics that you can glean ideas from.

Here you go. Guess I should do a follow up now the saws are running. I did two mufflers, one like you see here, and another with just the outlet opened up and the deflector ears widened. No real difference in noise, at least to my ears between the different mods. Quite a pleasant exhaust tone, low and throaty without being harsh.
They were brazed back up after the mods. I was thinking of silver solder, but couldn't swallow the high price.
