I recently inherited a 1983 Ford F700 with a 78000(1978?) series L36 (36 FT)
Asplundh Bucket. It is in great working order with the exception of the upper boom control valve on the deck. It squirts fluid out a small hole in the top of the valve when the valve engaging or disengaging. I know that Asplund has sold out to altec. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement valve or a rebuild kit?

I had same thing but on my lower control valve. It was a o ring inside that valve leaking. Take it into a hydraulic shop and they will hook you up with the right o rings. And it's cheap so you might as well reseal the whole valve bank. That's what I did and it may have cost 20bucks. They wont have a specific kit for you but they will have individual o-rings for your set-up. And then after you get them all keep your receipt and there is your "seal kit" part numbers. Btw I have the LR50 so it's basically same boom just with extensions.
