So it turns our altec wont sell parts for equipment more than 20 years old.

I need tension springs for the feed rollers in particular. Anyone know where I can get some?

Machine is a beast.

Hi Mike,

I would measure them and call a Bandit dealer. I believe they come in 3 sizes, 18", 19", or 21".

Have run into that for parts on other stuff as well.
My newest truck is a 2008 which I recently bought. I called the local dealer and got... well, I'll look it up, but not sure we can get stuff "that old". Huh?!

Seems to be a disconnect with equipment outfits. I guess they expect people to buy new $$$$$ equipment every few years.

Anyone know if CAT is getting like that too? I've seen articles and video of people rebuilding 70+ yr old iron and getting parts at the dealer without too much fuss.
